LOCATION
Ko Lanta "Yai" (big) & Ko Lanta "Noi" (small) are located in South-Thailand,
about 45 km (air distance) south of Krabi in the Krabi province. ~ 7' 28" north latitude, and 99' 4" east longitude.
The Ko Lanta district contains 53 islands which mainly are part of the Ko Lanta marine national park.
Krabi is situated at the Andaman-sea coast of south-west Thailand,
between 7' 30" and 8' 30" north latitude, and 98' 30" and 99' 30" west longitude. Total area of 4,709 square km.
