Lanta Watersports:

Lanta Watersports is based beachfront with Laguna Divers at Laguna Beach Club on Klong Dao Beach, Koh Lanta. The business is focused on introducing the sports of paddleboarding and windsurfing to visitors to the island, and is committed to offering a quality service to our clients.
Equipment can be hired directly or lessons and tours taken.
The lessons and tours are conducted by Sam Konstantinou an Australian surfer with years of surf experience and an extensive background in the water sport’s hire business.
All equipment is top quality. The stand-up boards are current season 11 ft NSP & 11’6” South Point models, and are buoyant and stable to learn on.
The windsurfing equipment is also excellent quality and can cover a range of users, from beginner to advanced riders.
Private lessons and tailor made tours at other locations are also available.

These tours can be booked by phoning or coming to the office. All trips include an experienced instructor and equipment. You must be a competent swimmer.

Boards can be hired for one hour, a day or a week.

Lessons and Tours:

Intro to Paddleboarding
This 1.5 hour trip gives an introduction to paddle boarding. With a half hour lesson the client will learn the basic skills such as paddling, standing up, falling off, controlling and turning the board. After this these skills are put into practise with a trip along the beach and surrounding area.
Surfing:

There are a few more skills involved to surf an SUP. With a quick lesson you will catch more waves!

Surf Session

Long Tail to ‘The secret Spot’ and catch some REAL waves!
Includes ½ day board hire, longtail and refreshments (subject to weather conditions)

Operates daily for one hour at 7am and 5pm. Go for a paddle in the tranquil early morning. Or for those who like to take it easy experience the stunning surrounds from the water when the sun is going down.

Windsurfings lessons and Hire :

Beginners course:

The beginner’s course is an introduction to windsurfing for those who have not tried it before.
The course lasts for 3 hours and includes instruction and equipment and refreshments.

Hire:

Boards & rigs can be hired on an hourly basis. Hire for longer than one day can also be arranged
